Why are some metered supply estimates inaccurate?
Every customer has different heating requirements – some may require more heating throughout the day whereas others will have lower consumption requirements if they are away from the property at work.
Once we have a minimum of 12 months fuel consumption the estimating process becomes easier but sudden changes in family circumstances or weather patterns also play a part in hampering our calculation.
We strongly recommend you provide us with an actual meter reading every month, which will ensure we do not send estimated bills which are triggered where no read is applied in a 3 month period.
